DD works better than I thought it would

I put a Distortion trembucker in my ESP LTD Lynch guitar last week. I had written to ESP about the wood of the guitar and received an answer from them last week (card said Alder). It turns out to be Maple instead of Alder; they said the warranty card was marked wrong. Anyway, I put the TB-6 in the guitar, and it's perfect. It does just what I'm looking for. I still like certain qualities of the Demon but after playing with it for a long time, I came to the realization that it just didn't have everything I needed. All's well that ends well, I'm happy now!

Good deal, IMHO, the DD is one of Duncans best humbuckers.

Do the trembuckers sound any different than regular spaced DD pickups?
I heard they are slightly different due to the tremelo tone robbing.
