De-airing Dmz Air Norton

Did the half-air tone zone mod(awesome tone) and would like to de-air(half-air) an air norton-

Do you remove the spacers then move the magnet towards the screw polepieces, same as the TZ mod?

Old topic, since no one tested this;

Mod 1; Place metal spacer (or metal bar) to the slugs and half-air it (magnet not touching screws).

Mod 2; Place metal spacer on both sides (no-air), will have EMG-like less-dynamics agressive but fat tone (I didn't try this but could do well on bridge).
