Hi there,

I have the Brian May Deacy Amp, I have a two by 12" Marshall Cabinet what should drive it(slave/power amps) with so I can get a louder and strong tone?

Thankyou!

Re: Deacy Amp

If it doesn't have an external speaker jack on the amp, you'd need to pull the wires off the speaker and attach them to a female jack. Then use a speaker cable to connect it to the cab.

If you're using another amp as a slave amp, you'd use the Deacy's DI output, into the FX return of your slave amp, and plug that one into the 2-12 cab.

Re: Deacy Amp

Then plug that into the cab, but NEVER plug it into the input or FX return of another amp or you'll fry the other amp. If it has a DI out, you can run that into another amp's FX return.

Re: Deacy Amp

When Brian plays live he plays the the orginal "deacy" and then hooks it up to the vox slave amps on stage. I want to try this so I thought I'd connect up my deacy to a marshall 50watt power/slave amp and then connect it to the marshall cab???? Is this possible? Will I fry anything??

No, it's fine. Use a guitar cable from the Deacy's line out into the FX return of the slave amp. Then use a speaker cable to go to the cabinet, of course.
Let us know how it worked out.
