Dead Neck HB... Help?

I recently had a DMZ Liquifire installed in the neck position of my HSH guitar.

Initially when I received the guitar back from my tech, the neck pickup was almost completely dead
(Not completely silent but extremely weak output)
However the split coil position (pos. 4) was working fine. Only position 5 (Full Neck HB) was not working.

I took it back to him today and I watched him check for continuity at the pot, switch and pickup leads... (All seemed OK) Then he just resoldered all the pickup wires, Tone Pot & Ground leads again just to be sure and this managed to fix the issue and the Liquifire was alive again....

UUUUUUntil I got home and played it for 15 minutes. Now its not working again, just like before...
Super weak, bright & thin, dead but not compelte silence.

Split coil position 4 is working perfectly. Something to note, it died specifically after I used a screw driver to adjust the pickup height very slightly & raised some of the poles a tough with the supplied allen wrench.

What could be happening? Why would the split coil work fine but not the full HB?? Does it sound like an issue with the 5way switch or the Pickup itself? The HB is brand new but the switch is a couple years old. (there is no copper foil shielding but we do have the shielding paint)

If there’s a break in the coil you can still get sound, but it’s thin and weak.

If works in the split setting because a humbucker has two coils. So one coil is likely bad.

Or it could be a bad switch or some wiring issue. If you get a multimeter you can check each coil. If you get a very high resistance, like several megohms, that shows the coil is open (has a break).
