Deal alert - Mad Professor Golden Cello, $99 at Amazon

So, it's being sold by a company called "Global Liquidation" through Amazon:

These used to be going for $200, and were sold exclusively from Guitar Center and Musician's Friend, kinda like the "1" pedal the Mad Professor did for them. I can no longer find the Golden Cello on either of those web sites, so I'm guessing this is the last of these pedals, unless you count the hand-wired versions (the "amber overdrive" ) which is a little spendy.

I've seen counterfeit Mad P delay pedals going for $50 on evilbay. Its something to consider when finding their pedals for cheaper than normal.

I got a used one on eBay for around $90 bucks–great sounding pedal and I am kicking myself for getting rid of it!

Well, I ordered mine late last week, and it came today. It looks legit, the packaging looks like my other MP pedals and it sounds like the demos. Is there something that would indicate a forgery?

I think the font and paintjob on the pedal was the revealing hint on the fakes. A manual was also provided in Chinese & English with it.

If you already have some otber MP effects then its easier for you to tell if this one is along the same lines of build quality in & out by looking at it. I think you got a genuine one & this is a genuine deal, the originals used to go for $150 new so its quite possibly a true product
