Rotary speaker cabinets sound amazing, but their size and weight make them impractical for anyone but the most dedicated vintage enthusiasts. Powered by the latest BOSS advancements, the RT-2 Rotary Ensemble distills this expressive spatial effect into a footprint that’s easy to integrate into every setup. This powerhouse pedal authentically recreates the complex sonic magic of its inspiration, supported by three sound modes, deep tonal shaping, and advanced operation with the onboard pedal switch and external control.

Authentic rotary speaker sounds and behaviors condensed into a space-saving BOSS compact pedal
Three versatile modes include a vintage rotary sound and two modified tones with enhanced spatial effects
Virtual rotor display with lights that indicate treble and bass rotor speeds
Fast/slow rotor speed control
Drive knob to add vintage tube saturation
Rise/Fall Time switch adjusts the transition time between rotor speeds
Drive/Balance switch assigns the Drive knob to control the saturation amount or the volume balance between the treble and bass rotors
Four selectable pedal switch modes for bypassing the effect and controlling the rotor speed in various ways while performing
Support for advanced control with external footswitches or an expression pedal (speed, brake, and other functions)
Mono/stereo input and output
Two stereo output modes: standard stereo (default) or individual wet and dry outputs

Yeah, it's a rotary speaker simulator. They're trying to do stuff in the same ballpark as a Neo Ventilator/mini vent, rotosphere, or Danelectro Big Spender.

Its a smaller version of their discontinued RT20 dual foot switch series pedals.

Never had one so can't say how good those sounded.

I've heard this one above, and it is a great sound. I love the guitar-through-Leslie thing, but I don't use that sound enough to dedicate an entire pedal to it. I get really close on some other multi-effects I already have.

The key to the sound of the NEO is that you can dial in the warmth of the Hammond Leslie tubes and adjust the distance of the mic from the Leslie to control the amount of "whoosh" you get.

That and whatever algorithm they're using, it sounds pretty amazing. The vent is the best sounding rotary type pedal I've ever tried.

i like the ventilator a lot, if i didnt have a rotosphere, i might get one.

The Boss sounds pretty good to me. I'm actually looking to add a rotary pedal to my pedalboard. I like the compactness of the Boss.

I pulled the trigger on one. The demos were too good to pass up; plus, the seller made me a killer offer. I'll review once I receive it.

The demos do sound good. I've been using the rotary effect in my Fractal lately an awful lot. I love how it ramps up and down.
