Decision between 59' and Custom

Well I play mostly rock/emo/pop/punk. I think soon it`s going to be the time when I will change my pickups. I have a Fender American Strat HH. I have to make a decision between Custom and 59'. Tell me, which is brighter and more versatile?

I'd go with the Custom. It's extremely versatile. From what I understand, it's basically a beefed up PAF. How about a Custom bridge, '59 neck?

Get the one that has the same good tonal characteristics of the 59, but has the power of the Custom.....Custom 5 tremspaced. IMO, in strats, the 59 isn't beefy enough, the Custom is too hard and the cleans are hard to tame, the CC has a top end that's too dense and compressed...not open and airy enough in strats, and the JB is a good choice, but can be too compressed and nasally to some ears.

Did your guitar come with a PG?

I would go with the 59. Output ain't everything.
