Deja Vu Failure

Re: Deja Vu Failure

Assuming that its the same behavior plugged in - might be the switch. I'd use a multimeter to see if the contacts actuate, but this forum is probably not the best for a how-to on that.

Just got through replacing 3 faulty switches this morning - a Fulldrive2 and Budda Zen.

Re: Deja Vu Failure

The back of a 3p2t switch looks like this:

Imagine that the 9 metal tabs are numbered like this:

1 - 2 - 3
4 - 5 - 6
7 - 8 - 9

The switch will either connect:
1/4, 2/5, 3/6
or
4/7, 5/8, 6/9

depending on which way you click it. If there's continuity between 1/4 then you know that there should be continuity between 2/5 and 3/6. If there's continuity between 4/7 then there should be continuity between 5/8 and 6/9. If there isn't, then you need to change out the switch.

Re: Deja Vu Failure

Hey Gustavo, so sorry you are having problems. I went to talk with our customer service team but it sounds like they sent you something very special since they ran out of the Deja Vu replacements. Enjoy the Black Winter set! Happy Holidays and rock on!
