I've had folks asking me about this lately, and I can't seem to send pics in a PM. So here it is again just for posterity.



And remember, if you don't have a 4-wire HB'er, the cap/resistor can just be placed in series with the hot wire. I've found these values to work best for a '59, but you can experiment with anything.

Artie, thanks for posting that again. Just to clarify something in my mind. Assume there is a 0.01 treble bleed cap on the pup's Vol control wired in the usual way and that the earth connection to the 3rd lug of the vol pot can be disconnected via a push pull. Assuming that the vol pot is set to 0 you presumably get, when the PP is up, the “Booster” mod with the de mud mod. I am assuming that any tone pot will be of the no load variety
