BTW...I love Orange amps, and those pitch shifting Magnatones are just too damn cool...I wish I could find and afford one!

Well they all come from a Fender...that came from.....GE I think..hehe

That made me laugh, because it's true. My RCA Receiving tube manual evem has three schematics for tube amps.

I own a 5150 stack and JCM 800 and a Fender original 65 deluxe..... Nice amps! The 5150 i love for it's EQ panel.... that low end is hard to beat for the money as used 5150 heads pop up for cheap!!!! the 800 is much cleaner but has a much quicker response time.... and the old Deluxe is really just for cleanish tones or for adding pedals..... I always wondered What mods were done to Eddies blackface Deluxe he used Backstage for warmups at 80's VH concerts.... I bet they were really tweeked!

I would think EQ mods is where a huge difference is made between amp designs....
