Die to the Past (Doom Metal Original Song)

Last night I wrote a Doom song, any constructive criticism is appreciated. Lots of talent in this group!

Dude, I swear every time it just keeps getting better.

First off, those tones on the guitar and bass really work, vocals sit nice (if maybe just a touch too loud or upfront) and the playing is great. If you had your drumkit shoot MIDI into your DAW and used some better samples it would really bring it up, but the drums don't sound bad by any means (I'm just happy they're being played by a human).

Seamless transition at 3:13 too, love those type of 'breakdowns.'

Although I came in thinking 'Oh man, he did a cover from DOOM!' and walked out going 'well, I'm glad he didn't do a cover from DOOM' hahah

Great stuff man.

Im glad you dug the tones, they are my pharaoh fuzz through Tech 21 vtbass and oxford pedals. I have my midi and samples...might fiddle with em...

Im glad you dug the breakdown Im pretty new at drums and have not bothered to look at any drum instruction videos but its pretty fun just going forward anyway lol gonna dive into technique and stuff soon :banana:

Thanks much brutha! this is awesome, I love Trouble, I gotta not let that get to my head though. :headbang: I gotta save the presets to this one then to get this huge fat sound in the future.

Oh yeah, you should def do that man ...& no problem..another huge Trouble fan here. Not saying you sound just like EW (lol ..who does?) but I certainly do hear some similarity :bigthumb:
