Had a customer drop off a VH4S for a thorough checkout. I really like these for ultra hardcore and the cleans are actually really good. I'll get pics and make some clips this week........lord, my job is rough!:smokin:

Screaming Daisy once remarked to me something that struck me -

Those amps sound best with a Marshall Plexi in tandem, or something of the like. I have enjoyed playing them - but I shockingly like the simplicity of the Herbert (or is it the Einstein? I get em confused) more.

I tend to agree. Hearing Neil Schon and Bon Jovi's solo stuff with the Diezel's behind it kinda confirmed that to me. They are kinda saturated and focused, so I think a little brown sound under them makes 'em sound sweeter.

NOT THAT THEY AREN'T UNREAL AMPS!

For some reason they remind me of Mesa Mark I saturation meets Soldano SLO grind.
