Difference between regular output and eg output on a boss pedal?

Hey,

Whats the difference between regular output and eg output (eg out is what I mean't) on a boss pedal? Thanks in advance for any help. :beerchug:

The EG (Electric Guitar) output is a direct out, that way you can have your electric guitar's normal sound going out to an amp and you can send the 'Acoustic' sound to an acoustic amp.
