Different bridge pickup recommendations for Charvel So Cal?

I kind of thought I wouldn't dig the Duncan Distortion that came stock in the So Cal. But I wanted to give it a try first. I've been playing it all day through my DSL, 5150, and Chupacabra. As I thought, it's just too hot and fizzy for me. I do have a brand new Dimarzio SD that I bought to put in the Jackson SDX that I originally got. How do you think that would sound in the So Cal? I'm debating if I should exchange the SD for a JB, before I open it and can't return it. Im just looking for opinions.

Thru those amps I`d go with something like the Custom/Hybrid

What amp and speakers are you playing thru ? I'm assuming your playing rock/hard rock ?

I listed my amps. I'm playing hard rock through greenbacks.

My bad I noticed that and edited my post but obviously not quick enough LOL . I haven't owned the DSL but I've had the 5153 and that amp was such a firebreather it worked best with pickups in the 9k-12k range for me at least

I agree with the Custom, custom/'59, but also want to throw the Custom Custom in as a suggestion.

Less output but still pushes hard , more open , less compressed

Custom or Hybrid would be my thought.
