different spacing

I just received my trembucker JB today.. everything seems fine, but i noticed that it's unusually narrower, so I check the baseplate, and find 'SH4' instead of 'TB4'.. **** it, 2 weeks of waiting and they send me the wrong pickup..
I'll send it back tommorow and claim my TB (and perhaps they'll put along some new strings for apology)..
but I just wanna know, what will happen if I put a standard spaced duncan in a trem spaced guitar? how would it sound?

Never tried it myself but apparently not all that different. Perhaps if you bend the high e string you'll miss on some volume...

The SAME thing happened to me when I ordered a TB-11....they ordered me a SH-11...bastards... The only thing is I actually installed it into the bridge of my strat before I noticed the spacing. But I gotta tell you....so far it is working out great and I do not notice any kind of differences when bending strings or whatnot. I posted a similar thread about this and most guys do not think is it that big of deal...
