Push the up or down footswitches, there are lots of cool sounds in that thing. i've discovered the sweetest clean sounds come from the Gibson GA amp and whichever speaker(s) you prefer.
One thing- turning the knobs on mine, they're really touchy, if not very careful, they go way past one "click" at a time, both for up & down thru rograms, or the smaller ones to edit, light touch works best.

Re: DIGITECH RP 360

I picked up the secondary footswitch for mine. Some presets ok, but the real beauty comes when dialing your own sounds in and highly recommended to go with full range amplified setup. You can turn off amp and cab sims or just amp/just cab to use with real amp and cab if you want also. Sometimes I run it into my fx return and use the amp sim, but no cab sim. Most of the time its used with headphones, my iLoud 40 watt bluetooth speaker, or into my mixer and out PA.

The sims and fx are very good with a little time spent dialing it in. I like JTM, Citrus, and 800 sims a lot and it can really nail a classic rock, raw early metal sound good. Clean amp sims great too. The unit can be restored to factory easy enough. I keep mine in stombox mode and switch through presets with the secondary footswitch. It was a bargain given the quality of the fx and amps.

Some presets though - what were they thinking?? Just because you have 8 or 9 effects doesn't mean you need to pile them all on. Sheesh.

I can match my real amp heads and cab with a little time spent, to 90% of the sound. Not quite the same playing feel as the real amps in responsiveness to volume knob, but not bad. Same with pick dynamics. It surprised me.

I don't use the software to program it. Fully friendly programming right on the unit with that fat display.

People give Digitech grief….but those things have more processing juice than an 80's rack-of-doom.

I have seen a number of bands sound amazing using one of those into a Marshall loop just for volume. It's all about how you set the knobs kids. Learn how to play the amp!

My new little Plexi clone is prime for in front of the amp. I set 5 presets. One is just a bypass preset after deleting all but one effect (has to be at least one) in bypass mode. The other 4 presets have amp deleted so no amp sim or cab sim, but thise can be turned off if ya don't feel like deleting. Sounds great in front of the amp too.
