hey guys

just bought a whammy off ebay (silly me), and lo and behold, i have problems

while the LED's light up perfectly, the footswitch is responsive and the mode selector knob works fine, all im getting is a distorted fuzz through my amp.

anybody know what i can do to fix it?

thanks guys :)

Re: Digitech Whammy Problem

just using in front of the amp, i'm not using a noise supressor at all, but i don't think that's the problem, it's basically functioning as a fuzz pedal at the moment, a really lousy fuzz pedal.

i'm using the proper power supply too

Re: Digitech Whammy Problem

Is the fuzz sound the same, regardless of which setting the knob is set to? Or does the fuzz sound change with different settings?

Also, there is a dry output. Is fuzz coming out of that too?

The knob doesn't seem to be making any difference to the fuzz noise, and activating the effect doesn't make an impact either.

the only difference between the dry and wet outputs is that the dry is slightly louder, same fuzz however.

it's got me rightly confused
