DiM PAF vs PAF36s? & Super Dist vs Norton?

Is there that much difference?

Prolly be able to get my mitts on a PAF for the nk pos of my Epi Explorer...I kinda remember it being kinda blah,but didn't spend a lot of time w/it...

Teh Epi's got a Super D in it now,but it's a little toppy,as the guitar's kinda bright/lively umplugged.
Also may get a Norton,as well.really liked that p/up in a few guitars.Also have a Tone Zonw,FWIW...

Any hands on or suggestions?

36th anniversary for the neck, have you looked at the Dominion for the bridge? It is kind of a more modern Super D, with less output. How about the AT-1?

Can't really afford anything,honestly,trying to work with what I have on hand/access to...

Thanx tho,heard/read good things about the Dominion.
