if i am understanding you correctly you mean will a AN be good for metal in the neck spot?
to this yes, but in the bridge it may be a little weak,but if you have a hot amp then no prob! i used paf pros for metal with a bogner :cool3:

john uses a pickup modeled almost directly after the air norton in the enck. and a model modelled after th steve special in the bridge. in teh enck it's awesome. really smoothf or fast playing. in the bridge? i dont know, i'd rather go with a norton there.
