DiMarzio Humbucker from hell with AII?

Anyone ever tried this?
I like the open, glassy tone, but sometimes i'd like to have the tone a bit smoother and still with the single-coil-vibe. I use one volume-pot, but not tone-pot (Ibanez PGM). So this makes the already bright pickup even brighter!

ive got a hfh, and its pretty sweet. ull definatly get that open, glassy single coil sound from it, but with hum cancelling. ive never tried it in the bridge, its supposed to be pretty distorted down there, but the neck position for the hfh works for me. i love it.

I don't know if I'd use it in the bridge....I think I'd just buy a strat at that point..but in the neck....I love it. One of Dimarzios best pickups IMO.

+1 for the HFH! I added it to my Jackson DR6 in the neck slot and it can pass for a strat it's so jangly... Well sort of. Might be interesting to try with the A2.

sounds cool to do so, even out the tone a bit, I'd really like to use a3 and a4 magnets sometime.

seems like thatwould also make for a cool mod to do on their steve special.
