DiMarzio Super 3 demo

Re: DiMarzio Super 3 demo

Absolutely zero processing. All effects were before recording. No post-recording processing using plug-ins, EQ-ing, normalizing, all that crap.

Sorry, this does not lend to being an accurate representation of the Super3 at all. You could have told us it was the stock bridge pickup in an entry level Walmart guitar and I would have believed you.

What do you expect? As described by DiMarzio in its website?

That's the pickup working in the real world. I am a firm believer that the ultimate sound of an electric guitar is defined by many factors. Too many people arguing that the wood, nut, sustain, type of finish, scale length, etc are keys to the tone when in the end this is what you get.

By the way, it's not insame amount of distortion. It's just a Rocktron pedal and Laney 2x12 combo amp, which is definitely not hi gain.
