I scored a MS dimarzio sig pup a few days ago for $30 like new after a fellow forum member i sold a axis bridge pup to thought i sold him a MS by mistake ,so i got curious and tracked down a MS DMZ just to hear and this is hands down the best DMZ other than the axis bridge pup i have ever had the privilege to play on! think super big PAF tone with more girth,balls,sustain,clarity,note seperation. the high screams but are musical and the low end is tight but dynamic and responsive.harmonics are insane and it is very rich like a duncan or gibson.
Played in a alder charvel through both a 5150II stack and marshall YJM half stack the MS DMZ shines and really makes me kick myself in the ass for ever dissing DMZ for a few bad models that have out.
This MS model and the axis bridge model make up for any dimarzio you can diss or talk s**t about. Dimarzio really does make a great pup and now i am wanting to try the dimeola set,the steve morse set,rick derringer set all the sig sets they made just to hear if they are all as great as the MS and EVH sets are!:14:
