Just wanted to know if anybody has tried these two pickups and what kind of results you got. I play 80s & 90s Metal and the pup will be going into a single humbucker Strat. Thanks a bunch.

I've heard the X2N is good for those classic 80's metal tones, and I think the Dime is for the modern heavy stuff.

dude, you know you could always put a Screamin Demon in the bridge for the classic stuff, then a Dime in the middle, cause its so brutal and hot, I think that you would get a metal tone from it no matter what, then you could install an on/on switch. Plus, that would look kick ass.
