I do not see why not. If you like the tone of the dime then you should like it. It may have a bit more bottom and low mids maybe than the guitar it was designed to go in

I have heard a dimebucker in a les-paul copy . . . it sounded wicked to me. Not quite as "scooped" I guess as in a superstrat type to my ear - but the slight added thickness almost made it more evil!

The Dime in a Les paul is a dangerous combo.... very aggressive, very metal, very crushing....
