i got this guitar with dimarzio d activators but find my self wondering will the dimebucker be better? What do you think?

Re: Dimebucker or dimarzio D-activators

I find the dimebucker is REALLY good for a crappy, scooped mid, icepicky treble tone.

Time for the usual questions: What kind of tone are you going for? What's the guitar made of? What kind of amp and effects are you using?

"good" is too broad of a term for us to do you any good man.

And remember, the d-activators won a guitar world award, you can see the video on guitarworld.com. The dimebucker, isn't exactly the most popular pickup on the block. Even the el diablo (Scott Ian of anthrax's pickup) hasn't been very well received. Plus, if you like the d-activators, there's no need to change them.
