Went to Radio shack recently and picked up tone and volume pot cleaner and lube sprayed into the side of the pots and could not believe the difference.It was like i took a blanket off the pickup especially the neck it sound so much clearer.Cant wait to do all my guitars .
If it changed the sound you must have had some GUNKY pots! Over time that junk can make your signal short and have issues. I'm glad you got the pots running for you. Personally I like the way it makes them feel too.
