Distortion magnet question

Just got a Distortion set and was curious about the oversized mag. I decided to peel away the tape to have a look. It looks like there is 3 mags, one oversized in the middle and one small on each side. Is this correct? or are the just spacers. I thought to Invader was the only multiple pickup Duncan made.

Plastic. Or wood, or any non magnetic solid sturdy enough to hold up the coils so the pup dosen't split down the middle upon tightening the screws tothe bass plate!

dimarzio & gibson uses 3 magnets in some of there designs like Gibson 500t & the super distortion one thick magnet in the middle & 2 spacer sized magnets where the spacers would be
