I decided to do away with velcro and attach my pedals using neodymium magnets instead:

If you want to try this, I ordered the ring magnets from kjmagnetics.com, and attached flexible magnetic strips (from amazon.com) onto the pedalboard.

I like it a lot, but I got a roadrunner pedal case with a velcro strip sew into the case.

Awesome - I despise buying a used pedal with an industrial strength piece of Velcro on it. One of my pet peeves.

Anyone try that stuff they advertise on TV for cel phones? It's got like a million mini suction cups per sq inch on it and holds the phone at 60 mph out the window?

I can honestly say that I've never tried playing any of my pedals outside of my car going 60 mph.
Is it teh good tonez??

Re: DIY magnetic pedalboard

After seeing Ironman 3 I've decided to try and control all my gear with my mind and this way I never have to carry it... I just do the Tony Stark wanna be Spiderman flick and all my stuff flies to me at 200 mph... thus negating the need for pedal boards.
