DIY Pedalboard

Anyone got any great homemade pedalboards? I'd like to see what you did. I realize it's not rocket science. Just looking for some cool alternate ideas.

Re: DIY Pedalboard

Here's my small board, a simple 2 tier design with a Volto hidden underneath the shelf to power everything.

This was my big board but it went to a mate who needed a big board quick, I'll make another over the coming months. Both boards were made using Hexaboard which is used in making flightcases. This one was a 3 tier design with a PPII and Sennheiser radio pack underneath.

Main board built into 12x18 ATA case. PP2+ hidden under the deck. All hookups (power, guitar in, amp out) can be made on the right side before you even take the lid off.

For-fun "surf board" built on half a "Skim Lizard" skimboard. Simple OneSpot daisy-chain power.

D1dsj, I see you have a Cornford amp switcher. I've never played one before but I've heard great things about them. How do you like them?

Re: DIY Pedalboard

I tore apart and rebuilt a skid to make mine. Seemed like the best way to get two all-in-ones on there and also the best material for hiding my lack of woodworking skills!

Bri, uh is that a paint stir stick you used on the front of your board?

Re: DIY Pedalboard

My idea of a DIY pedal board is buying a pedal board and attaching the Velcro and installing the power supply myself. ;-)

Yep! Was the perfect size and thickness!

Besides, I had to give some advertising credit to my employer, from whom I blatantly stole the pallet! [emoji12]

Re: DIY Pedalboard

This is great because my pedal collection is outgrowing my pedaltrain 2 and I'm planning to start a second pedalboard. I was thinking of just pulling out the lining of an old universal guitar case I have laying around and replacing it with carpeting that Velcro will grab on to and replacing the hinges with latches to make the lid completely removable, but these look a lot simpler and less expensive to do.

Re: DIY Pedalboard

Little Pigbacon, I agree, turned out excellent! Whats the battery rig up for?

Here is my little newly finished "utility board". (I call this my utility board as this has my "necessity" pedals and Im going to build another with "color" pedals like flange and phase, etc".

I made it so the wah pedal can slide out to put it more floor level as having it higher can be uncomfy.
