DIY tremolo effects pedal kit.

What are the controls on it? I'd assume speed & depth...anything else? I built a BYOC Tremolo pedal before- those were the only controls. I don't think I'd need anything other than that, unless you are looking for *really* fast or slow, or more of a chop (some trems 'round off' the peaks).

I'd say to build it first and see how it sounds. Then if it isn't doing what you want it to do, you can start thinking of changing it. A tremolo isn't like an Overdrive, where there are dozens of standard circuits and thousands of mods.

If I could have ONE extra control on any given Tremolo, it would be Level. Sometimes you want a little more juice so you don't lose the sound in the mix when you engage. After that Triangle/Sine vs Square. And then all the rest.

But I have a few two knobbier that I really like; Demeter tremulater, Dano Tuna Melt, Guyatone VT3, and of course, the Diaz Tremodillo.

Yeah, I've used trems that were lower in volume. On most multi-effects, tremolos almost always feature a volume control, and they have to be bumped up at least a little bit to fit in the mix.
