Do Bad Ground Do Bad things?

I think you are asking for a shock maybe, but at the least you'll get so much noise you'll hate it if your ground isn't connected.. It will be really loud..

if you get shocked then there is probably a ground issue in a microphone/the pa or in your amp. the worst that should happen is that your guitar doesnt have any output, if you get zapped by your guitar it must be very angry with you
