The short answer is that I need a little more info.
Are you talking about 'real' 70's tuners or the 'F' style tuners that are on the re-issues?
I bought a set of the reissue 'F' tuners to use on my '75 Strat. They wouldn't fit without modification so they're sitting in my toolbox
The newer tuner has a ring around the base of the post that requires more clearance in the headstock than the 'real' 70's necks that I've tried them on ('75 and '76)
Or, are you asking if they (once again, are we talking about 'real' 70's tuner or the reissues?) will fit on American Standard or American Series necks?
