Yes. I've never suggested it publicly, but the P-Rails neck wired in series is hot enough to compete with the Alternative 8. As a company, it's dangerous for us to suggest that the P-Rails neck is a "higher output" neck pickup, though, because it doesn't behave like one. It's not muddy or garbled like some overwound neck pickups can be. Then again, the Alternative 8 doesn't behave like any other pickup wound to 17k+ either. So we're kind of defying logic with both of them.
