IM curious do they still make them in this color? I know JALIN has one it think...but wow they look so awesome but ive never seen one in eprson ever. Man makes that gibson les paul extra sweeet!

Yes, Sam Ash currently has the only ones as a limited production. They were $3300 but I saw them last week down to $2900.

So its only avaiable through sam ash?!?!? i live in canada so i duno if they even have a sam ash here at all. They only have long and MCquade and steves music store.

If you got the money Gibson has the time. The custom shop will make just about anything you want but you gotta be willing to fork over some serious bucks.

Agile makes a LP silverburst, out of stock now though.

cool - huge heavy beautiful guitar! I played one at the local s. ash store, the guitar was placed really high and away from kiddies like me!!

They're definitely a cool looking instrument. Probably the next Les Paul that I buy will be a Silverburst, but I want one from the late 70's. I know they've all oxidized (blame it on Buick paint), but they're made out of better wood.

Just curious as to why you have your sights set on one from the 70's instead of one from the early 80's? Aren't Les Pauls from the 70's to be considered of lesser build/construction quality?
