Do You Dig A Furniture Or Hot Rod Finish On Electric Guitar?

Upon further thought, I really like metal flake finishes. Especially with an iridescent overcoat. And if you can have an underlying ghost grain, all the better.

Black Orchid has always been one of my favorites

Cars, trees, hot rod, furniture, swirls, flakes, basically everything is fine with me. I can't stand graphic finish cause they get old before I manage to bring them home. Think George's Skulls and Snakes and Hammett's dracula guitars...meh.

It kinda depends on how the day is going... here are some of mine...

I am a sucker for anything that I like or think looks good and plays good. I have all types of looks. Lately, I have been digging the wilder stuff or louder looking stuff. It's probably just a phase like everything else in life.

Want some thing durable and hate Nitro. Have several with Nitro but I play my stuff and it's hard to maintain Nitro long term. Have sold colors translucent with figure tops and a Tung oil . I want some thing that looks good now and if properly maintained will look good 20 years down the road.
