Does any brand sell FLOYD TOPLOCKS - but FOR A TELE? if so, where?

Explanation: about a year back, I found a pretty nice maple Telecaster neck w/ a set of locking tuners... for $25. And jumped on it.

As expected, it had a teeeeny tiny PROBLEM: some moron (not me, and according to him, not the kid selling it either) tried to squeeze the wrong kinda nut into it. By shaving off wood, and incompetently at that - all past "zero fret" position, so the sole issue is that now it's misshapen in the back (not even flat) and would require some SERIOUS precision shaving and a custom-cut huge-ass nut, and/or adding back wood from another source... which is such a pain to do that I keep on putting it off. BUT then I realized that if I could just get a proper-sized TOPLOCK nut, I'd be good - just flatten out the cut and bolt it down, done.

...except I'm not sure I've ever even seen a Floyd nut cut to Telecaster sizing and spacing. Help please? Thx!

Uhm... how about, oh, I dunno - just toplocks? All i need is tele neck width (some fraction of an inch narrower than strat, I believe) and a radius that isn't TOO different, is all.

Toplocks would be fine. And if there's some genius somewhere who put 2 and 2 together, adding the concept of brass nut and steel toplocks to make brass toplocks, to fit this, heck, I'd kill for it!


PS if I wanted a huge square chunk of Corian, I'd just hit home depot up for a sample. Free of charge. Making a nut, SHAPING a nut, fighting around that misshappen shave by some dumb moron who thought he'd fit an LSR strat nut (no words, I'm dumbfounded) is just sooo not on my agenda. I hate nuts, I hate dealing with nuts, I absolutely adore mount once & forget forever concepts like the toplock nut.

Yamaha had a height/radius adjustable locking nut at some point,but I'm not exactly sure how easy/difficult they are to come by...

Oh, forgot a HUGE piece of the reasoning: chances are, she's getting her edges rounded off and having an illicit union with a strat body if I can get her nut issue resolved. A 6-screw tremolo strat... having a toplock couldn't hurt there, I figure?
