I was looking through BD-2 mods and came across the Galaxie mod, which has high praise. This mod is different however from the standard mods that consist of adjusting cap values. Some caps are replaced with resistors, some resistors are replaced with caps, and a considerable number of components are removed.
I'm struggling to do a circuit analysis on it because I'm operating off of little more than the parts list. From what I can tell so far, it reduces some of the diode gain, basically converted it into a cascading gain FET drive.
Does anyone know what the rest of the changes do?
