Does TB5 sound like TB4?

I'm looking for a pup that sounds like the JB (TB4) with more output.

From the Tone Chart it seems that the Duncan Custom (TB5) is the one.
But the description of Duncan Custom seems to show that it sounds like kinda a classical PAF.
Which one is indeed the case?

PAF is a specific sound. Output is only one of the things that make the PAF sound what it is. The descriptions of the pickups on SD's page are correct.

The JB seems to really be unique. The Custom is voiced different. Tighter, more ballsy. It's a different sound.

Thank god the TB-5 sounds NOTHING like the TB-4!!!! I just cant handle the JB myself. LOL!

One is my most favorite Duncan and the other is my least favorite Duncan!

A Custom is colder, not hotter than a JB. A JB is very, very hot. You want a hotter JB? That's the Dave Mustaine model.
