thanks, i was under the impression that it had more of an overdriven tone when cranked up...

I didn't play through the OD channel......takes pedals well though.

The clean channel will get dirty, but it would be very loud.

i was thinking of the SFX03 but the OD channel may be good enough

I kinda like the Blues Deluxe and Devilles more than the Hotrod Deluxe and Devilles. They're all good, but at one time when I was moving a lot of amps, I had a Blues Deville and Hotrod Deville in the same room, and the I'd give the nod to the Blues.
