Does the SD pot fits Ibanez Jem perfectly?

Hello there. Quick question since i researched and didn't find anything: does the SD Pot, the regular one, fits the Ibanez Jem, or does it have to be one of those long shaft pots? Thanks

Unless you've got a LP type axe, the shaft length should be the same. Keep in mind that the Japanese pots in the Jem are metric, while SDs are (I think) imperial, so the diameter of the shaft will differ. You may need to enlarge the hole in the Jem pickguard so the SD pot fits.

Hmm. Mine is the Korean 555, are they larger too?

The soldering work will be easier if you slacken off the hex nuts of the two pots and position them so that their terminals sit above the edge of the control cavity.

With the pots unfastened, you will have no difficulty measuring the diameter of the holes drilled to accommodate the pot shafts.
