Does this Ebay listing look a little suspicious?

There is only one small picture. He provided very little information about the condition of the guitar parts or any modifications that might have been made. The chart he links to doesn't have the date of manufacture. ETC... I don't know, it just seems like he's not forthcoming with any of the information people normally expect.

The link took me to a page displaying thirty plus guitars - some of them clearly genuine pieces from an authorised dealer.

I am going to assume that you mean the first one - the autographed red HSS example.

Generally, people offering autographed pieces try to include some supporting evidence of the provenance. e.g. Photographs of the celebrity signing the guitar. Photos of the celebrity shaking hands with the vendor at some music store, trade show or gig.

e.g. A friend of mine owns a Maton Tommy Emmanuel signature model acoustic guitar. He got Tommy to sign the guitar (and a book, IIRC) after a show in Cardiff. My friend even has blurry photographs to prove it. If he ever decided to sell the guitar, the evidence is available.
