MIM Nashville tele which has the stock tex mex strat in the middle (RWRP) and the stock tex mex tele neck pu. Zhang built me a killer PB for the bridge which shares the same polarity and wind as the neck (Thanks Zhang the pu kicks ass).
I purchased a Seymour Duncan APTR-1 alnico II pro tele neck pu yesterday which according to their tone chart is RWRP in respect to their bridge p/u, to replace the texmex neck.
If I'm correct, once installed, the neck and middle will share the same wind and polarity and the PB (bridge pickup) will be RWRP in respect to the neck and middle which & should move my hum cancelling from 2 and 4 spots to the 3 and 4 spots ( i forgot to mention that I put in and oak grigsby super 5 way and wired the middle to be neck +bridge)
Next I'll get a new strat pu for the middle to replace the texmex strat pu, but I'm planning on getting a neck pu to put in there so that it will share the same wind/polarity as the bridge and my hum cancelling wil go to 2 and 3.
Does this make sense and sound right to you guys?
