Does this wiring seem correct?

I replaced the base of a 2 conductor 59n to one with shorter legs. I think I screwed up the wiring. When hooked up, I get no sound from it. Both black wires coming from each coil are soldered to the baseplate. The shield is soldered to the base. The internal wire from the shielded wire is also soldered to the base where each of the coil wires are soldered. uploadfromtaptalk1367086165719.jpg

Re: Does this wiring seem correct?

The baseplate is part of the shielding. It is, therefore, part of the grounding path. Only one black coil conductor should be soldered to the plate. (I'd use the one from the screw coil.) The second black coil conductor should be soldered to the cloth-covered conductor of the output cable and insulated. Neither of these wires should make any contact with the baseplate.

EDIT - I cannot help noticing that your humbucker employs a DiMarzio (or copy) baseplate. Shock, horror!
