speaker makes a big difference. a g12m is a great speaker but the alnico blue is about twice as loud

cause you were right and it might not be twice as loud, and ill admit when im wrong. i put that bit in there cause im a brat and stuck at work on my day off. no offense meant.

I have an AC30HW. It's loud enough for any venue. Myaccount had the right point that you should/would be miked up at most outdoors/large venues anyway. If you won't ever be miked, then you might have an argument for another 2x12 extension cab for it, which VOX makes, just to push more air so the frequency range survives over a longer distance. It won't make it louder, just ensure folks at the back hear the same thing folks at the front hear. (This is what line arrays are all about in PA systems)
