It may not be a pos. At that price, chances are it IS, but you won't know til you try it. I've bought some very low priced P-90s (about $30 for a SET) that sounded fantastic! If it doesn't sound good, it's cheap enough to consider it disposable.
If this is for your Ibanez it might be a lateral move. What's the difference in specs? I would be hesitant to route a brand new guitar for an unproven low cost pickup.
^, absolutely, if you're going to rout out a new guitar. I wouldn't do that. But if your guitar is already routed for a similar pup, it might be worth a try. Sometimes you can find a gem even at cheap prices.
