Dorky pics --- sorry I just have to share this

Hi all,
Here are links to a few shots from a gig that I played on Tuesday night. A band of friends were launching their new CD and we supported them. Some beer, mucho fun, lots of music, and some fun again. When the official (loud) part of the evening ended, we played on unplugged until 1 a.m. (too bad I had to travel like 140 miles to be at work at 8 on Wednesday).

Anyway, here are the links:

This band is a side project - I'm a lead guitarist normally, but I like to jerk around on bass as well. The sad part is that my Hagstrom bass is slowly becoming unplayable - its tiny neck is warping beyond repair (at least so the repairman said). I'm selling it to a collector friend and getting some playable alternative, hopefully soon.
Peace
Tony

Tony,

Congrats. Hope you had fun. Those pics are not "dorky" at all....OK, maybe the accordian a little bit :laugh2:

Great stuff!! :)

* Simon makes mental note to deliberately set mic stand low for maximum ROCK effect * :fing2:

What happened to the accordian player here though?

Sorry I didn't respond earlier - I had to drive to a rehearsal, and on my way back I nearly got lost in the fog because my fog lamps wouldn't turn on.

LOL, the accordion player has a cleft lip, and his visage has elicited comments from some people who thought he's like a Quentin Tarantino lookalike (to his great amusement :))
Although we do not smile - let alone laugh - in the pics much, we really have fun playing with this band.

And --- sorry this thread probably belongs to the Sound Room. Er...
