Certainly they exist.
I just got a 2xA5 from Clint55 for my Full Shred Neck/Full Shred Bridge hybrid and it sounds wonderful... I tried in in the stock Full Shred prior to tearing it apart and it was amazing in that form also.. Im tempted to get another one and get another Full Shred cause I liked it so much..
There's a 2xA2, 2xA8 as well.

Not at all, but the 2xA8 is two magnets glued together and then magnetized. What youre thinking will just make them degauss each other.
And I may be wrong on a 2xA2 mag being available, but for some reason I think there is.

What guitar and setup and what music or tone you are trying to achieve all plays into it..

Double thick A8s tamed some of the fizz in a Distortion set for me. They're still mighty loud though, pretty powerful for my tastes.
Can't be 100% certain it isn't just my expectations confirming themselves but they also feel a little less stiff to me now - slightly bouncier.
I've been meaning to try double thick A5 in an old SH-7 Seymourizer (same pickup as a Distortion neck) for use in the bridge position. I have the mag, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Im not real sure that's a good question though.
Mojotone and Addiction FX are two US sellers, but I never looked into it...
And to clear things up about a 2xA2 being available.. I was wrong on that and misunderstood Clint. He did ask Cermag and they will have to glue two together and then charge or magnetize them like they do with their 2xA8's

I haven't found any. I did ask addictionFX about them but never heard back so I took that as a no.

They have to be available from somewhere. The DiMarzio Super Distortion uses a double-thick ceramic. I love that pickup with the lower wind resistance compared to other hot pickups coupled with the big magnet. That's part of the magic of the SuperD, IMO.

As a small magnet dealer catering the EU market, double-thick ceramic mags are NOT big sellers, and the interest for Alnico ones is almost inexistent. That's why you won't find a lot of foundries interested in make batches of different ones, as most of the time they just don't sell.
However, some chinese foundries would do custom-made batches for you, although it's not cheap, with no trial batches and return policies provided.
TBH, unless you're into modern metal, the majority of the brands considered the best-sounding p'ups on the market, usually get a lot more of the weaker mags rather than the stronger ones, with the exception of Alnico 5, which is the most generally used, although I personally don't care a lot about. All the ones I have in stock are the ones coming out from Gibson, Duncan and other HB p'ups, that the original owners wanted'em changed.

mojotone has some the 1.5x thick ceramics. They're a little long. probably would just work with a 6 string humbucker.

I’ve been wanting to get more power and a big more tightness from my Pegasus and have been thinking about using an Alnico 8 but I’m thinking that a double Alnico 5 might get me closer to what I want.

Just to mention, we currently stock Double thick in Aln5 and Aln8. as they are quite popular. For Aln2, Aln3 and Aln6 we are currently supplying by bonding 2 mags together and remagnetsing to be the same polarity, as the demand is quite low

Right, if you want anything out of the ordinary with magnets, you have to pay for a production run for hundreds of them. It's not economical for them to be made in small batches. There's no point in factories producing oddball magnet types in guitar pickup sizes, and waiting to see what a few guitarists might want to tinker with.
