Hi all,
I'm wiring a neck pickup like this diagram so I can use it as a push pull phase switch.
However, I'm also wiring it as an independent volume knob for the neck pickup, so I will be moving the connection from the toggle switch from the center lug to the left lug. If the hot white wire were run to the pot instead of the DPDT switch, I would run it to the center lug.
My question is, when I reverse the toggle switch and hot wires for independent volume knob wiring, do I also move the wire that comes from the DPDT switch from the left terminal to the center? Or do I leave it on the left lug?
I have left it for now. If the pot works as a phase switch and independent volume, I assume the DPDT wire and the wire coming from the toggle switch will both go to the left lug. The white wire that would ordinarily go to the center lug will stay on the DPDT switch.
Thanks.
