DR Black Beauty Extra Life
The latest in coated technology from DR. The wrap wire is black coated before winding on the hex cores. The plain strings are coated too. A top quality string from DR that's long lasting and looks cool too.

anyone used them?

i dont wanna waste a tennor on them coz thats what one set will cost me

their almost 3 times as much as my ernie balls which i get for 3.80

I've used other DR strings, and now use nothing else. You may owe it to yourself to splurge at least once. Give 'em a try...if you like the tone and life, you've got a winner. If not, you're spent the price of a pizza to find out.

I've used 'em, and was very impressed with them!

Not enough to give up my precious DR Pure Blues, tho!

hmm, maybe i'll give them a shot then

every other string i've tried (elixir poly and nano, daddario, dean markley normal and blue steel ones, fender, rotosound) has always dissapointed me compared to the ernie balls.

maybe im just too used to them or something coz every other string feels alien and sounds "wrong" to me.


i might get em just for the novelty lol
