Go here http://www.soundclick.com/crowscrown All of the songs on here where done with a DR5 drum machine except for "Spring fever" & "Midnight sun", I played an electric drum kit for those. Also, some of the the more electronic based music on there was done with a yamaha sequencer, you'll be able to tell the difference.

I use a Boss DR3 for demoing songs, and for jamming when it's just me and the other guitarist. It's versatile, sounds good, and has a short learning curve. Within an hour you will be writing drum parts.
